Rugby the Wembley way

This Saturday will see Wembley open its doors to up to 80,000 rugby fans. The new stadium had better get used to it.

A Question of Sport Relief

Seven46 takes its sport seriously.

We were all over the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver where we wrote a presentation script for the Rio 2016 delegation.

We love our football and are hoping that our work for the England 2018 World Cup bid campaign helps secure a historic win for the country come December.

And this Friday we’ll be joining in with the millions around the UK who’ll be raising money for Sport Relief – the brilliant sports-led charity event that aims  to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest countries. continue reading this article

As one of the architects of Vancouver’s bid win, back in 2003, he’s spent a decade dreaming of this week - the week the world arrives and the years of planning become days and nights of spectacular sport, and much more. continue reading this article

O2 be at the ATP Tennis World Tour Finals

Yesterday’s visit to the O2 arena to watch Andy Murray’s 2-1 set victory over Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in the ATP World Tour finals was, by far, my live sporting highlight for 2009.

As part of a Seven46 away day, I went along to watch Britain’s number one ranked tennis star (and the world’s number four) play his third match of the end-of-season round robin competition.

What nobody’s telling you about London’s Olympic Park

The brand new facilities rising from the ground in the Olympic Park are living proof of a very old adage: good news is no news.

The total redevelopment of what was a neglected brownfield site into a new beacon for sporting excellence appears to be running as smoothly as the Swiss rail network.

The result is that most people have heard very little about incredible Park progress. continue reading this article
