O2 be at the ATP Tennis World Tour Finals

Yesterday’s visit to the O2 arena to watch Andy Murray’s 2-1 set victory over Spain’s Fernando Verdasco in the ATP World Tour finals was, by far, my live sporting highlight for 2009.

As part of a Seven46 away day, I went along to watch Britain’s number one ranked tennis star (and the world’s number four) play his third match of the end-of-season round robin competition.

The total redevelopment of what was a neglected brownfield site into a new beacon for sporting excellence appears to be running as smoothly as the Swiss rail network.
